    Stage One: Coming Soon!

    2+ Months Prior to Grand Opening

    This stage focuses on building a “coming soon” landing page to generate buzz about your studio, identify potential clients, share employment opportunities and more.

    Stage one kicks off when you:

    → Have the business name and confirmed location address.

    → Have your website domain.

    → Are ready to start sharing your new business with your community!

    Stage Two: Pre-Sale Microsite

    1 Month Prior to Grand Opening

    In this stage, we’ll focus on building your “presale” microsite. This site can be used to sell your founders’ memberships, offer previews of the class schedules, and share other details about the studio to continue generating interest.

    Stage two kicks off when you:

    → Have onboarded with your scheduling software.

    → Know an initial pricing structure.

    → Have a draft of your class schedule.

    → Have a logo and branding.

Web Design Project FAQ 

  • Sure thing! Drop your info in the form at the bottom of this page and we can hop on a phone call to talk it through.

  • Squarespace is a hosted website platform (similar to —but better than!— Wix, Weebly, LiveEdit etc). It's user-friendly, works well with Mindbody and other third party integrations and doesn't require much on-going upkeep. You can read more about why I like Squarespace for fitness and yoga studios here.

  • Great question! We start by doing research to determine what's already working for you and why, then be sure to keep or improve those pages and keywords. We'll also be sure to redirect any old non-relevant page urls so your links all stay intact. You can read more about this scenario here. If this is a concern of yours, and your website is currently larger than 10 pages or has a blog, I recommend my Flex Fit package.

  • Absolutely! That's one of the things I love best about the Squarespace platform. I'll show you how to do all this in a recorded training call.

  • Once your full site is launched (yay, we made it!) you’ll have 1 week of priority support. This period of time is intended to fine-tune anything on the live site based on feedback from your clients as they actually start to use the new site. After that support window closes, I offer pay-as-you-go "get it done" support calls in 30 and 60 min options that you can book whenever you need them. I also have a variety of consulting offerings for taking the next step into digital marketing for your studio.

  • You will need to pay for your Squarespace subscription (Business Plan), which is $18-26/mo depending on if you decide to pay monthly or annually. That subscription covers website hosting, the editing interface and tech support. You'll also need to have a custom domain (ie. www.yourstudio.com). This is typically around $12/year and your domain can be hosted at any number of domain hosting companies (ie. Godaddy, Hover, namecheap etc). That's it for the website directly!

  • We’ve worked with many software integrations: Mindbody, Walla, Mariana Tek, Wellness Living, Acuity and Fitdegree to name a few, and we’re always happy to explore your set-up if you’re using something else.
